Slightly an ok Film
Slightly Single in LA this movie was pretty cheesy. However I couldn’t pass up Gretchen Weiners (Lacey Chabert) and Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett). It was a cookie cutter romantic comedy. About a girl who was scared to commit to a real relationship and dating losers who could never be actual potential boyfriends. While all the while friend zoning someone that has had feeling for her since she was younger. So the usual I don’t like him but he doesn’t like me and he’s so cool formula. That is so usable because it happens to often in real life. I my favorite part that made it different was the guy wasn’t a slut. Women threw themselves at him constantly. He kept his sights on the main character and gave the Heisman to all the other women. Very gentlemanly and sexy. So just for that I say check it out. Besides seeing Aaron Samuel playing a gay character that’s isn’t flamboyant and a caricature of how gay men are usually portrayed in low budget comedy films.
