Ashtastic Journey's Last Movie Seen

I enjoyed this movie. It wasn't the best. But I like that it had mutiple short stories. Along with the main storyline

Hilarious! I loved the premise. I feel like that I would be looking for Kevin Hart's character is I was ever to get married. I don't think Kaley's character was developed that much until the end when you finally decide if you like her of not.

I really enjoyed the movie and thought that it was heaps better than the book. Christian was more loving and more approachable then the character in the book. Check out my blog post for the rest of this review.

This movie is hella cheesy! I'm happy Paula Patton finally had the chance to star in a movie. She should have wait for a better one though. Everything was predictable and by the end I wanted to slap her and her man hungry friend played by Jill Scott in the face!

A great independent film about the coming of age of two 17 year old girls who end up become great friends. It's a story that's been told before but I liked the setting was in England. It had great scenes of the ocean and the cliffs and mountains. I thought it was acted well and I enjoyed watching it.

I don't know what happend to my text for this but this was a fantastic movie. The herione was strong willed and determined which is hard at a time when African American Women were seen as less then out of all the races. It was a story that tugged at my emotions. I went from angry, sad, happy, triumph, and joy. I love when I connect with a movie at that level.

Again I don't know what happened to the mini review I did for this movie. I wasn't let down by this movie. I see why it got all the hype that it did. It was masterfully written, directed and the acting was superb. I liked seeing the ensemble of terrific actors coming together to tell a story that is a dark part of America's past.

Ashtastic Journey's Last Movie Seen

OMG this movie was great. I can’t see why it won an Oscar. It was funny, sad and dealt with a lot of things that children need to eventually learn about. Those things being death and depression. I like the premise that you don’t have to be cool it was about “traditional nerds” being the hero. I can’t wait for it to come out on DVD because I would definitely add this movie to my collection.

This movie was pretty cheesy. However I couldn’t pass up Gretchen Weiners (Lacey Chabert) and Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett). It was a cookie cutter romantic comedy. Check out the rest in my blog post

I seriously judged it before I even watched it. I’m happy that I was wrong by thinking it would be boring. It was a movie about a horse that was narrated by the horse. Thinking it was pretty cool not anything new but not the usually movie. The movie told the story of how this horse lost it mother found her. But he becomes friends with a little boy and thing form a strong bond. I don’t want to spoil the movie with any more details. It wasn’t the best movie but the only thing I didn’t like was I thought the voice of the horse would change when he grew older and it didn’t so he sounded like a kid the whole movie.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Rate: 8.5

Age of Ultron did not disappoint! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I loved how they gave more of a backstory to Black Widow. Who I’m totally in love with especially after I felt a kinship with her after she told Hulk she couldn’t have children. I also enjoyed the back story for Hawkeye he was ok in the first movie and the second movie I warmed up to him more. In this one he was even better. I mean he and black widow are just somewhat regular people compared to the rest of the team and they still pull their weight. If you like the other movies you will enjoy this one as well.

This wasn’t my first time watching this and it won’t be my last. I read the book for this before I watched the movie and I wasn’t let down at all by the adaption to movie. I thought Bradly Coopers portrayal of Pat was very endearing and realistic especially the episodes where he was off his meds. While I like Tiffany’s character what she did was twisted but in a sweet way. She showed him that he could be himself and still have somebody love him for all his faults without trying to change to make them love you. Just the premise that two fucked up people could have something beautiful was .them both finding the silver lining.

Hot Girls Wanted

Rate: 7.0

Documentary Bibliography

Hot girls wanted was a very real look at how the amateur porn industry has grown to be a way for young girls to get out of their hometowns and make a name for themselves while making seemingly great money. But it is very clear to see that while it seems alluring to somebody young and ready to take on the world it’s a fast lifestyle that is still looked down on by a lot of people even though many still watch it. Which seems hypocritical but to hear and see a little of what these girls go through it doesn’t seem to me like the right choice to make.

I wanted to see this when it was released but never got around to seeing it. But I finally did and I was not disappointed. I’ve had a crush on Vin Diesel since the first F&F and his character did not let the inner fan girl down. The tribute to Paul at the end was so sad, sweet and enduring. You can tell that the cast really are great friends. The stunts were amazing and I loved every scene. One of my favorites was the scene where they sky dived in their cars.

Furious 7

Genre: Action, Crime, Thriller

rating: 9.5

This was a enthralling documentary about the horror of how easy it is for young girls to become turned into prostitutes. Girls and boys from broken homes aren't the only ones who are targeted anymore now that its so easy to connect with people on the internet. Then there is seeing how vicious the cycle is because the pimps are never the ones who are arrested. It's always the victims the young people who have been forced into prostitution.

Some girlfriends and I went to go see this and I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it. Besides all the gorgeous men everywhere I really liked that this movie was really about friendship. I was happy to not see the girl that he was trying to get with in the first movie. I thoroughly hated her and her brother along with Matthew McCaugnehey’s characters in the first one. But was happy that I only paid to see that one in the dollar movie. Go with low expectations and be surprised how much you enjoy the second movie

Beyond the Lights

Beyond the lights was a very well-acted and written movie about the downside of finally making it big when you have been transformed into what the industry wants you to be especially from a female perspective which translates to sex symbol, taking off clothes, raunchy lyrics. The female lead at the beginning of the movie was struggling with that besides have the ultimate mom-ager at the beginning of the movie, and was so unhappy she tried to take her life. But soon finds her own identity and love.

Since I've been on a Nana binge I found that there was a second movie made and I ended up watching it on Youtube. It was good. It followed the anime very well. All the same actors from the first one reprised their roles except for the woman who played Nana K. Her replacement was a good fit. I must admit the original Nana K since everyone else came back for their roles.

First let me just say that I love Quentin Tarantino films! I watched this on a bootleg a friend had and the quality was not up to par. After watching this and actually seeing everything that was going on I was even more delighted with this movie. Jamie Foxx, Leonardo Dicaprio, and Christopher Waltz were all excellent. But the same could be said with the rest of the cast. I wasn't dissappointed with this film and like every other Tarantino film I will watch it over and over.

This was a great coming of age movie with a twist on the salem witch trials. Thought it has nothing to do with witches. When a Mary Warren decideds that she isn't go to continuously fight with someone and goes radio silent on social media. She recruits other girls in the school to join her in her group. But when her rival becomes jealous everything goes to shit. I really enjoyed that Kal Penn was also a part of the movie.
