The Age of Adaline
My movie watching and book reading have declined as of late. School has been really busy this semester so I've had to slow down on some of the things that I enjoy to put my full attention in other things. I was giving myself a breather from reading about the rise of socialism for my history class. Went to YouTube and on the popular page I seen a movie trailer for a movie starring Abigail Breslin and it looked good. Loved her since her performance in Little Miss Sunshine. Fantastic movie!
The Final Girl
Come on she looks like a bad ass! How could you not watch the trailer!
Then as I look up to watch a particular scene from the encore episode of the walking dead....The scene where Noah dies! R.I.P Noah. I got all kinds of feels from that episode! Anger, Sadness, Fury, Disappointment, Pity. But I digress, in the pop ups at the end there was a trailer featuring Blake Lively. I'm still on the fence with her. I feel she played Serena Van Der Woodsen great. Savages though mmm girl just no. I watched the trailer anyway. She's been on a sabbatical living her life and growing her family so she’s probably hungry and again. I wasn’t let down from what I seen.
The Age of Adaline
Looking beautiful as ever! The movie actually looks really intriguing.
I read somewhere that last year was a big decline for movies featuring female leads and watching these made me feel better. Along with all the strong black females characters on TV right now as well. 2015 seems like a great year for women so far. Some might say I’m being a feminist and to that I say…
